Uploaded on Tuesday 23 November 2010

DESCRIPTION

Actress Shanyn Leigh talks to Abel Ferrara about how she balances being an actress and leading an ordinary life. Leigh mentions that she has always known herself as an actress since she was a little kid and talks about some of her techniques as well as how she prepares for a role. A buddhist, vegetarian, and an avid yogi, Leigh has been in films such as Michael Mann's Public Enemies, Abel Ferrara's Go Go Tales, and Mullberry Street. A couple of her biggest inspirations are Sissy Spacek and Meryl Streep. Leigh also talks about the new film she is working on with Abel Ferrara about the end of the world. The movie asks the question, "What would you do if you knew it was your last day on earth?" In a world where everything has become too material, the movie explores the deeper levels of being human and how people interact with each other.
